Chocolate and zucchini mix well together to form Chocolate Zucchini bread! It is an unbelievably chocolaty treat that tastes so good warm and maybe even better chilled. Chilling it helps in cutting the loaf, so if you can be patient it may be worth the wait. However, I won’t blame you if you cut into it right out of the oven! Eat it while it is warm and you will think you are eating a brownie. No seriously you will! It will not even dawn on you that a shredded veggie in there somewhere. I love it!
Considering the fact that the only vegetable that is going hog wild (what does that mean anyway?) in my garden is zucchini, I think that I will probably be making many loaves of Chocolate Zucchini bread!
By the way, I have used different types of chocolate chips in the bread: regular sized chocolate chips and dark chocolate chips, chocolate chunks and the last time I used mini chocolate chips and these dispersed throughout the loaf spreading their chocolaty goodness just everywhere! I didn’t complain and my partner in chocolate crimes (my daughter) going back to 1995 didn’t complain either!
Okay here is the recipe bake it and enjoy! Gotta go I have a partial loaf in the fridge calling my name! In fact we devoured it so quickly that by the time I thought about taking any sort of pictures we had only a partial loaf left! oh well!
